Since 2018, she has also been a member of the national community mediator supreme council, where she shares her experience in community leadership through various Rukun Tetangga programmes and activities in Kunak.
Her role includes acting as a liaison in resolving community disputes amicably and fostering cooperation among people of different races and religions.
Expressing her gratitude for the award, Norsima called on all parties to continue strengthening unity within the community.
“Unity is not merely a slogan, but a shared responsibility that must be nurtured and preserved at all times,” she said.
