LAHAD DATU: The services and sacrifices of security personnel, especially the heroes who fell while fighting against the terrorists in Kampung Tanduo and Kampung Sri Jaya Simunul in Lahad Datu, will always be remembered.
To commemorate the incident that claimed the lives of 10 security personnel, the Lahad Datu District Office with Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Sabah (Jheains) held a yassin recitation, prayers, lectures and tahlil ceremony

The event, which also involved representatives from Esscom and both State and Federal government departments, was held at Masjid Ar Raudhah, in Lahad Datu, on Sunday.
During the ceremony, people were urged to reflect on the lessons of the Tanduo incident and to continue supporting the authorities in maintaining peace and public order.
