KOTA KINABALU: The defence in the money laundering trial of former State Water Department director Ag Mohd Tahir, his wife Fauziah Piut, and ex-deputy Lim Lam Beng closed after 15 witnesses.
The couple faces 33 charges involving RM61.57 million and luxury goods, while Lim faces four charges over cash and a vehicle from alleged unlawful proceeds in 2016.

Sessions Court judge Abu Bakar Manat set April 7 for written submissions, April 22–23 for oral replies, and May 8 for his decision.
