KOTA KINABALU: Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Berhad (KTC) has appointed Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali as Chairman of its Board, in a move to strengthen governance and support its long-term growth strategy.
The former Chief Secretary to the Government brings extensive public service experience and institutional insight, which is expected to enhance KTC’s strategic direction and engagement with stakeholders across both public and private sectors.
KTC Executive Director Datuk Dexter Lau said the appointment would provide valuable leadership as the group continues to reinforce governance and build a resilient, forward-looking organisation.
He said KTC remains focused on expanding operations by positioning East Malaysia as a strategic growth hub, while strengthening supply chain connectivity and pursuing investment opportunities across Malaysia and the wider region.
Mohd Zuki will serve as Non-Executive Chairman, providing oversight and strategic guidance in line with the group’s long-term priorities.
