Kota Kinabalu: The Social Welfare Department (JKM) Kota Kinabalu is appealing to the public for assistance in locating the family or next of kin of a three-month-old baby boy found abandoned in the city.
The infant, identified as Arfan Bahri

“The child is currently under the temporary care of a suitable guardian following an interim custody order issued by the Kota Kinabalu Children’s Court,” said Community Development Officer Musawer Madsan on Thursday.
The temporary custody order, applied for on March 17, ensures the child receives proper care while efforts continue to trace his family.
“JKM Kota Kinabalu seeks the public’s help to identify or provide any information about the child’s biological family or relatives,” he added.
Those with information can contact Musawer at 088-254648. The department thanked the public for their cooperation in helping reunite the child with his family.
