KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said Sabah’s newly formed unity Cabinet is committed to working together to steer the State towards steady progress over the next five years.
He said the administration is prepared to build on the work of the past term and will begin implementing the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 plan in 2026 following the first Cabinet meeting at Menara Kinabalu on Wednesday.
Hajiji underscored the importance of strengthening the State Government to preserve political stability and sustain the development momentum achieved in recent years.
He said the new administration’s focus would remain on stability, unity and development, while pledging to serve all Sabahans fairly regardless of background.
He also announced the list of 17 assistant ministers who were sworn in on Tuesday.
