KENINGAU: The Keningau contingent once again brought pride to Sabah when it emerged as one of the most outstanding teams at the National Best Practices Symposium, Innovation & Career Guidance Education Carnival for Students (Gemala Madani 2025), held at Ar-Riyadah Residence, Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, recently.

In addition, Tawau District joined the Sabah delegation and achieved fifth place in the Best Counselling Practice category (Counsellor’s Category)—another proud milestone for the Land Below the Wind.
The Keningau contingent also received a motivational boost from the Keningau District Education Officer, Johari Jaibet Sabin, who expressed great pride in their remarkable achievements.
He further pledged to grant a special incentive to the national champions as recognition for their efforts in uplifting the Keningau district and Sabah’s reputation.
This success was supported by the close guidance of Ms. Nurul Fazarina Jinais, Assistant Education Officer, Student Development Sector, Keningau District Education Office, who coordinated the efforts. Saharuddin Baadu, Head of the Sabah Contingent, also led the team with dedication and fostered a strong spirit of teamwork.
With the theme “Madani Generation: Explore STEM, Lead a Global Career,” Keningau’s participation this year was not merely a competition but a testament that educators and students from Sabah can compete at the national stage—carrying the Malaysia MADANI aspiration toward continuous excellence.
