LAHAD DATU: Abdul Halim Gulam Hassan, representing Pakatan Harapan (PH), appeared at the Dewan Seri Perdana Nomination Centre today as a surprise candidate.

He will be contesting for the N.62 Silam seat, going head-to-head with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) candidate Datuk Mizma Appehdullah in a PH vs GRS clash.

Abdul Halim, who is also the younger brother of GRS’s Datuk Abdul Hakim Gulam Hassan contesting for N.60 Tungku, drew attention as his participation had not been previously reported or rumoured.
