SM All Saints emerged as one of the most dominant participants in the international competition, recording 13 gold medals – three of which also received Special Awards (Munch – 1st place, Tag Tracker – 4th place and De-Teck – 5th place) – as well as one silver medal through innovative student projects.
The achievement highlighted the creativity and research capabilities of the students and positioned the school as a strong leader in youth STEM innovation at the global level.

The students ranged from Form Two to Form Five. The Form Two students were Zhea Anastascha Binti Mohd Izmal Fadzly, Ian Mirid Anak Augustus, Jeremy Gad Anak Wellington Jesus and Declan Ted Soikun.
Form Three students who participated were Jasmine Jack, Aviela Rosa Terrance William, Dannabelle Ryanne Robert, Athalia Athanasius, Jayhsia Resse Jaikol Udar, Mark Dylan Disimon, Aaron Anthony Rining Thien and Ryden Azriel Kario.

The supervisors for the 14 teams were Marcus Khoo (four teams), Siti Azizah (six teams), Rishnahayu Nur (two teams), Ivy Jocelyn (one team), Disimon Edmund (four teams), Anizan (one team) and Adrian Bakil Nio (two teams).
The event was a prestigious international platform designed to uncover and develop new talents in invention and innovation.
Participants were required to design, prototype and present innovative solutions that create meaningful impact for communities and sustainable development.
The strong performance of SM All Saints students reflected their ability to apply scientific knowledge, creative thinking and problem-solving skills in addressing real-world issues.
The success was achieved through the collective efforts of the school’s STEM Warriors, a team known for promoting a research culture, innovation mindset and collaborative learning among students.
The achievements were further strengthened by strong mentorship from the Principal, Dr Mary Gambidau, and support from the school leadership and teachers.
The delegation was led by Senior Assistant of Co-Curriculum Marcus Khoo, with Anizan serving as team manager and Siti Azizah as chief supervisor, ensuring structured preparation and guidance throughout the competition.
The school delegation also received strong encouragement from parents, with 32 parents joining the programme, demonstrating close collaboration between educators, students and families in nurturing innovative talent.
The accomplishments at WYSII 2026 showed the school’s dedication to cultivating globally competitive students equipped with research skills, innovative thinking and leadership qualities.
The success also strengthened Malaysia’s presence on international STEM innovation platforms and inspires more young learners to pursue scientific exploration and creative problem-solving.
