Kota Kinabalu: The Information Department (Japen) will open three media centres in conjunction with the 17th Sabah Election.
The Ministry of Communications said the centres will operate from Nov 15 to 29, between 9am and 9pm, at three locations — Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau.
In Kota Kinabalu, the media centre will be located at The Majulan Hotel (Sapphire Room), Penampang; in Sandakan, at The Pavilion Hotel (Board Room 1); and in Tawau, at the Heritage Hotel (Bohayan Hall).
It said the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will also provide workspace facilities and internet access for media practitioners at 131 National Information Dissemination Centres (Nadi) throughout Sabah.
