Man missing for three days in Kiulu still not found
Rescuers carrying out search and rescue operations to locate the missing victim.
KIULU: A 45-year-old man who went missing while clearing a farm with his friend in Kampung Paka here three days ago has yet to be found.

The victim, identified as Jantannius Poulus, was reported missing on Tuesday at about 1.40pm and search operations are still ongoing.

Tuaran Fire and Rescue Station chief Kurong Ak Beki said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 8.40pm on Wednesday.

Six personnel were deployed to the location, about 41 kilometres away, using an EMRS utility vehicle and a Nissan Navara four-wheel drive to conduct the search.

He said the search and rescue operation, assisted by a K9 unit, covered areas around the victim’s last known location and along the Kiulu River before the operation was suspended at 4.30pm and is expected to resume the following morning.
