Fire and rescue personnel faced the added risk of sparks from nearby electrical cables while battling the blaze.
TAWAU: Six shop lots were destroyed in an early morning fire at Kampung Kinabutan Kecil, Batu 4, Jalan Apas, on Wednesday.

Tawau Fire and Rescue Station Chief Jemishin Ujin said the fire, which severely damaged the wooden structures, left around 80 per cent of the six shop lots destroyed.
