He said Warisan’s team includes engineers, magistrates, academics, and former district officers — people with both education and leadership experience from various sectors.
Among the notable candidates are former magistrate Edna Jessica Majimbun for Inanam, medical researcher Dr Joseph Lee for Tamparuli, and Fauziah Mohd Fuad Stephens, daughter of Sabah’s first Chief Minister, contesting in Bengkoka.
Warisan’s deputy president Datuk Darell Leiking will not be contesting, while at least three of Warisan’s sitting MPs are contesting state seats, including Semporna's Shafie (Senallang), Lahad Datu's Datuk Mohammad Yusof Apdal (Silam) and Kota Belud's Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis (Usukan).
