Kota Kinabalu: Deputy Chief Minister and State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun announced RM100,000 in government aid for Sabah Kidney Foundation at the foundation’s Hari Raya celebration held here on Thursday.
He acknowledged the State’s strained dialysis capacity, with 460 machines serving 2,400 patients.
He also urged Sabahans to adopt healthier lifestyles to help prevent kidney disease.
The ceremony also saw aid distributed to 10 dialysis patients, along with certificates of appreciation presented to members of its pioneer committee.
