TAMBUNAN: A 10-tonne lorry loaded with metal caught fire along Jalan Keningau–Tambunan, near Kampung Kitou, Wednesday night.

The Operations Control Centre received an emergency call at 8.58pm. Acting on the information, the Tambunan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) deployed a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit to the scene, located 23 kilometres from the station.

The operation was led by Operations Supervisor PBK I Raizaain Awang Damit, together with a team of seven personnel.
