Fast rising Moana looks unstoppable

Kota Kinabalu: Tomorrow’s (Sunday) Race 4 (Initiation) over 1,100m sand track features a feisty field of 15 starters with favourite Fight Again looking to fend off Magic Opa.

Well-built with quick turn of foot, Fight Again has advantage starting at barrier 4 and is likely to attack late in the race.

Magic Opa is no-nonsense-type and has ability to repel direct challenges. Special mention goes to Romantic Star who had put in strong runs of late and was first last start albeit at Novice level.

Jockey Hafiz is in excellent form and has ability to direct Romantic Star to a possible grandstand finish. Rounding off the selections are Ranger Ranch and Onyx.

A sharp Pacific Commander is in sprint form while Tommy Gun recent 3rd and 4th positions over similar distance puts him in contention. 

Honest-type Master Player can put in a strong run and has a say in the proceedings. 

With less traffic (9 runners) to contend with, Borneo Star with regular partner jockey J De Souza can achieve success conditional on a highly-disciplined run.

Australia’s Randwick Racecourse today unveil Group races galore with attention firmly fixed on Race 9 (Group 1) over 2,000m. 

Australia’s latest superhorse Autumn Glow can deliver a 12th win in 12 starts, without doubt. 

Aeliana is an elite performer with last courageous win on March 21 and 2,000m distance is suitable for her. 

Sir Delius claimed third in the same race and will feature strongly. Experienced and dependable Dubai Honour has a reasonable say in this race.

The local totalisator pools for Australian races are commingled into Australia’s pools, thereby providing dividend stability and potentially higher dividend payout.
