KOTA KINABALU: The rescheduling of case management in Sabah’s 40 per cent constitutional revenue entitlement appeal is a procedural matter and does not affect the main issues of the case, said Sabah Law Society (SLS) president Datuk Mohamed Nazim Maduarin (

He said the appeal before the Court of Appeal in Putrajaya stems from the High Court decision in Kota Kinabalu on October 17, 2025, regarding the implementation of Sabah’s constitutional revenue entitlement.
He added that the e-review initially set for April 2, 2026 has been vacated and rescheduled for case management via e-review before the Deputy Registrar of the Court of Appeal on April 13, 2026.
He said the change only involves scheduling and administrative arrangements and does not involve or affect the substantive issues before the court.
He added that the key constitutional questions in the case remain active and will be decided by the court, while SLS will continue to monitor the appeal and act in accordance with the law and proper process.
