With organisers projecting more than 200,000 visitors before closing night, Sabahans have answered that call in spectacular fashion.

Shoppers will find FMR 2026 the ultimate one-stop destination for completing their Raya preparations. The bustling bazaar is packed with traditional clothing, accessories, home décor, festive cookies and gifts, with vendors offering event-only deals and exclusive products you simply will not find anywhere else.

Demand has been so overwhelming that several vendors have already sold out within eight hours of launching their initial stocks and arranged emergency restocking runs just to keep up with the crowds.

“Our vendors are so committed to fulfilling the needs of our visitors,” said Dzulkarnain. “The demand has gone beyond what any of us expected, and we could not be more thrilled for our local businesses.”

Food lovers are equally well served. From beloved Hari Raya classics to Sabah’s own iconic street food flavours, the food offering at FMR 2026 is a celebration of local culture in every bite.

Visitors can look forward to a rich spread from a strong lineup of food and beverage names powering the festival, among them Nasi Kandar Kelasik Signature, Wedrink Inanam, Wedrink Damai, KFC, Borneo Legacy Venture, Glass Garden, Luxe Ice Cream and Majestic Coffee, ensuring that no visitor leaves hungry or disappointed.

When the shopping bags get heavy, the main stage is where the magic happens.

Every single day of the festival features live performances from award-winning and celebrated Malaysian artists, among them Stacy, Haqiem Rusli, Black, Wanie Kayrie and Bell Ngasri, each chosen for their outstanding achievement and popularity.

The stage programme is refreshed daily so that every visit feels new and the excitement builds all the way to Raya eve.

Three lucky draw sessions are held daily, giving visitors the chance to win from a prize pool exceeding RM100,000 in total. All it takes is a simple scan and you are in the running.

Families with young children will find the event thoughtfully designed with them in mind. Children’s games, all-ages stage shows, themed photo zones and family activity areas fill the hall with laughter and colour.

Teenagers and young adults are equally at home here, with social media-worthy installations, competitions and entertainment that speak directly to the younger Sabahan crowd.

Dzulkarnain is proud that the event is accessible to Sabahans across all walks of life. “There will be plenty of free activities, from live performances to cultural showcases and family-friendly entertainment. The idea is that everyone should be able to experience the Raya spirit together,” he said.

The choice of SICC as the venue was deliberate. As an internationally recognised convention centre, it provides the space, comfort and professional atmosphere that allows tens of thousands of visitors to move freely and enjoy the experience without the usual hassle of crowded festival grounds.

FMR 2026 is backed by a strong network of strategic partners who have helped shape the festival experience at every level. ERA Sabah brings radio reach across the State, while Daily Express serves as the official media partner, ensuring Sabahans are kept informed throughout the event’s run.

Instant Exhibition lends its professional expertise to the event’s production and layout, rounding out a strategic partnership that gives FMR 2026 its polished, large-scale feel.

For visitors travelling from outside Kota Kinabalu, hospitality partners Hilton Kota Kinabalu, Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, Horizon Hotel and Sixty3 Hotel are offering special rates in collaboration with MyKZ Venture Holdings, making a full Raya getaway both easy and affordable.

Adding to the vibrant festival atmosphere is a diverse lineup of participating brands and businesses that bring colour, service and variety to every corner of the venue.

Sabriena Collection, Kenyalang Legacy, Car’z Brothers, Camiliea Ironing Steam Press, Isuke Travel & Tours, KZ Legacy, WMC and MYKZ Event Management are among those offering a wide range of products and services throughout the 12 days.

“Fiesta Mega Raya 2026 is more than just an event,” said Dzulkarnain. “It is a celebration of community, culture and the Raya spirit. It is a place where families can shop, eat, enjoy entertainment, and create special memories together.”

With just days remaining before Hari Raya arrives, there has never been a better reason to head to SICC and soak in the celebration. Fiesta Mega Raya 2026 is being held until March 18.
