PENAMPANG: An abandoned house claimed to be located in the Penampang district has attracted widespread attention online after a video of the long-deserted property began circulating on social media.
A TikTok video posted by Spooky Borneo showing the condition of the house recently went viral, capturing parts of the old structure surrounded by thick vegetation, with moss-covered walls, fallen leaves and overgrown plants suggesting it has been left unattended for many years.

Several TikTok users in the comment section claimed the house once belonged to the late Fredoline Lojingki, with some recalling visiting the residence during Christmas carolling activities in the late 1990s.
Other commenters also claimed the property was once among the most beautiful houses in the area and a familiar gathering spot for community members.
However, the background of the house has not been independently verified and most information circulating about the property currently stems from claims and recollections shared by social media users following the viral TikTok clip.
