LABUAN: Raptors emerged champions in the women’s category, while Eagle Elite won the men’s category at the Under-21 Closed Netball Championship for the Director’s Cup, held at Dewan Lestari TVET, ADTEC JTM Campus, here.

The inaugural tournament, organised by ADTEC JTM Labuan in collaboration with the Student Representative Council, involved 14 teams from across Labuan, said Programme Director DLaiLa Nurdin.

Matrics Maverick finished as runners-up in both the men’s and women’s categories. Thunder Rebel placed third in the men’s category, while Umskal Falcon secured third place in the women’s category.

DLaiLa said winners received cash prizes of RM400, RM200 and RM100, along with hampers, a challenge trophy and medals.

The prize presentation ceremony was officiated by ADTEC JTM Labuan Campus Director Imalistyahusnajaya Mat Hussin, with the tournament also serving to strengthen ties among students and identify new talent.
