PENAMPANG: A man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Datuk Panglima Banting near the entrance to Taman Country Shangri-La, here, early Sunday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department received a call about the incident at 4.12am and firefighters from the Lintas station arrived at the scene seven minutes later.

The crash involved a Perodua Myvi and a Proton Saga, with two men aged 50 and 49 involved in the incident.
The driver of the Myvi was trapped inside the vehicle and was extricated by firefighters using special equipment before receiving initial treatment from Health Ministry medical personnel and being taken to the hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
The other victim, who was in the Proton Saga, was reported safe and uninjured, and the operation ended at 5.05am after firefighters ensured the area was safe.
