PENAMPANG: A mother is appealing for help to trace the owner of a white Perodua Axia after her son’s mobile phone went missing at Kepayan Point.
In a
Facebook post on Friday, she said she had parked opposite a premise at about 1am on Friday when her son stepped out behind the vehicle, holding a phone.

She said the device was placed on the pavement near a dog as she unloaded items from the car, and it was only the next morning, as she was leaving for work, that she realised it was gone.
She claimed CCTV footage showed a dog picking up the phone before an individual in a white Axia was later seen retrieving it from the animal.
Describing the device as very important, she urged the owner of the white Axia to contact her to arrange its return and asked the public to share her message.
