Tuaran: Three men were injured in a two-vehicle collision along Tuaran-Tenghilan Road near the Kampung Serusup junction, here, on Wednesday.
District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Deputy Fire Supt Kurong Ak Beki said the department received an emergency call at 3.25am.
Eight personnel, including officers, were deployed to the scene with one fire engine and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle.
Upon arrival, the team found two vehicles involved — a Proton Saga Aeroback and a Perodua Alza.
Three male occupants aged between 18 and 24 in the Proton Saga Aeroback were injured, while the 45-year-old Perodua Alza driver was unharmed, he said.
The injured victims received initial treatment at the scene before being taken to Tuaran Hospital for further examination.
“The team also inspected the vehicles to ensure there were no further hazards. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The operation concluded at 3.55am,” he added.
