TUARAN: Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident along Jalan Sulaman near Kampung Lok Batik early Sunday morning.

The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 12.44am and arrived at the scene at 12.53am, about 8 kilometres from the station.

The accident involved a Perodua Bezza and a Proton Persona, with four victims reported.

The driver and a front passenger of the Perodua Bezza were trapped and were extricated by firefighters using special equipment, while the rear passenger and the Proton Persona driver sustained minor injuries.

All injured victims were given initial treatment by Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) personnel and Health Ministry medical officers before being sent to the hospital by ambulance, and the operation was concluded at 1.48am after the area was deemed safe.
