Tuaran: A new bridge built to replace the old suspension bridge and featuring a modern spiral design is now in its final phase of construction at the Tuaran Market area. It is expected to become a new landmark in the district.
The nearly 100-metre-long pedestrian bridge boasts a unique and contemporary design, with strong potential to attract visitors and serve as a popular photography spot.
A survey by Daily Express found that, although the bridge is not yet fully completed, its steel structure and concrete pillars are already drawing attention from visitors to Tuaran, especially during the weekly Tamu Day held every Sunday.
The bridge is also expected to further stimulate local economic activity by increasing visitor turnout to Tuaran Market, which is already one of Sabah’s key attractions.
