SANDAKAN: The Criminal Investigation Department of the Sandakan District Police Headquarters is tracking down two men to assist in an investigation under Section 86(1) of the Police Act 1967 for escape.

The individuals are identified as Asmi Anak Belong, 34, whose last known address was in Sarikei, Sarawak, and Terry Oswald Lim Kuo Wei, 39, last known to reside in Kampung Kepayan, Kota Kinabalu.

District Police Chief ACP George Abd Rakman said in a statement on Friday that efforts are underway to locate both men.
