KOTA KINABALU: Nine rental houses were destroyed in a blaze at Kampung Bambangan in Inanam on Thursday afternoon, though firefighters managed to prevent the flames from spreading to four nearby homes.Firefighters from the Lintas and Kota Kinabalu stations brought the fire under control at 2.08pm using defensive methods supported by water from a nearby hydrant and their engines.
No casualties were reported, and the operation — which included a K9 unit and other agencies — ended after crews confirmed the area was safe.
