TAWAU: A worker’s quarters at Bandar Sabindo was destroyed in an early morning fire that broke out behind Tayar Supermarket on Monday.

The District Fire and Rescue Station said the five-door non-permanent structure was already fully engulfed when 13 firefighters arrived at 5.24am.

No casualties were reported and the operation, which used a hose reel with water from the engine tank, was brought under control at 5.40am and ended seven minutes later.
