GRS candidate cites Papar’s close-knit culture for peaceful campaign
KOTA KINABALU: GRS candidate for Pantai Manis, Datuk Pg Saifuddin Pg Tahir (pic), says the seven-cornered contest has remained calm and respectful despite the tight race.

He said all candidates have carried out their campaigns with discipline and courtesy, reflecting the spirit of healthy competition.

Saifuddin credited Papar’s close-knit culture for helping maintain a harmonious atmosphere throughout the campaign period.

He added that he respects the strengths and good character of all contenders from Warisan, BN, STARSabah, PN, KDM and PIS, and hopes the positive mood continues until polling day.
