KIULU: GRS candidate for Kiulu, Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, urged voters to view development as a shared responsibility during his campaign rounds across several district polling centres on Wednesday.

Residents were reminded of his longstanding presence in the constituency, where his nickname DJB Tambalutku reflects a familiar and personal connection to local communities.

Joniston said his work has always revolved around listening, engaging and partnering with villagers, including those in Kampung Pahu who have consistently played a role in shaping local priorities.

He acknowledged differing political views among residents but stressed that most people share the same hope of seeing Kiulu progress in a steady and practical manner.
