Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said the State Government remains committed to implementing a wide range of comprehensive development initiatives.
He said these include strengthening the state economy, advancing infrastructure development and improving healthcare, education, safety and other facilities for the well-being of the people.
Hajiji said civil servants must carry out their duties with dedication, honesty and integrity to ensure government policies and initiatives are implemented effectively.
He said this at the State Banquet held in conjunction with the 75th official birthday celebration of Head of State Tun Musa Aman at the Banquet Hall of the State Legislative Assembly on Monday.
Hajiji said the formation of the new State Government for a second term in November last year would see the implementation of a holistic development agenda under Hala Tuju SMJ 2.0 as a continuation of the SMJ 1.0 policy.
He said the successful implementation of the SMJ 1.0 Development Plan had demonstrated that the government’s administrative approach over the past five years was on the right track.
Hajiji said SMJ 2.0 would continue efforts to enhance capabilities, including shifts in thinking and working methods, while creating new value for sustained progress and development.
He also expressed appreciation for the leadership, wisdom and patronage of the Head of State, describing the office as a symbol of unity, stability and harmony for Sabah.
