Two fail to meet deadline

Kota Kinabalu: Two candidates from Sabah Peace Party (SPP) failed to join in the race in the coming 17th Sabah State Election as they arrived late at the nomination centre  to submit their nomination forms on Saturday.

Abdul Hata Abdul Hala, the party candidate for the Sulabayan seat, arrived at the  Nomination Centre at the Semporna Community Arena Hall, after nomination closed at 10 am.

 Ahmad Daud Awang, who intended to contest in Bugaya.Also failing to arrive on time to submit the nomination papers was  Ahmad Daud Awang, who intended to contest in Bugaya, which is among the three state seats in the Semporna parliamentary constituency.

The other two seats are Sulabayan and Senallang.
