The cooperation of dozens of villagers highlights the collective spirit of the community in accomplishing major tasks together.
The firewood is prepared for cooking during the wedding feast, which is also carried out on a gotong-royong (communal work) basis.
Kampung Kaban village head Johan Balang said that the tradition of mutual assistance within the Lundayeh community continues to be preserved to this day.
