LAHAD DATU: Police arrested three men, Monday, following the Op Tapis carried out to combat drug activities in the district.
District Police Chief, ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said, two men were detained after found possessing substances believed to be Syabu weighing 0.25gm and 0.12gm, respectively.

He said both men also tested positive for taking Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.
“The cases would be investigated under Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952,” he said.
Meanwhile, another local was detained the same day after his urine tested positive for taking drugs.
The case would be investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
He said the suspects are in their custody for further investigation.
“The operations reflected Lahad Datu Police’s commitment in combating criminal activities involving drugs in the district,” he added.
