Elderly man fined RM10,000 for harbouring illegal immigrants, Chinese woman charged with illegal entry
KOTA KINABALU: A 64-year-old man was fined RM10,000 for allowing two undocumented Indonesians to stay at houses under his control in Kg Keritan Ulu Senagang, Keningau.

Yongle @ Samblih Nip Kui Chong pleaded guilty before the Sessions Court and was fined RM5,000 for each offence, with three months’ jail in default per count.

In the same court, a Chinese national, Lin Miao, was charged with illegal entry and failing to report to immigration officials at Kota Kinabalu International Airport earlier this month.

Although she initially pleaded guilty, the court rejected her plea after she claimed her passport had been stamped.
