KOTA BELUD: Police issued 28 summonses during a weekend operation targeting youths loitering and engaging in illegal activities. District Police Chief Superintendent Shahruddin Mat Husain said these activities including street racing and excessive exhaust noise, along Jalan Pan Borneo in Kuala Abai and Batu Gadung.
“The areas had become gathering spots that disturbed nearby residents, prompting complaints from the public,” he said.

Following the reports, 11 officers from the Kota Belud District Police Headquarters, including personnel from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division and the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Division, conducted an integrated operation from Saturday to Sunday.
He said the operation was aimed at curbing traffic offences and other unlawful activities that pose safety risks and disrupt public order.
