MELAKA: A unique Hari Raya decoration spotted in a neighbourhood here has amused many online after a Facebook post showing the unusual festive display began circulating.

Facebook user Merryn Tan shared that she often drives past the area and noticed residents working together daily to prepare decorations for the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.
While praising the strong community spirit, she joked that she was puzzled by some characters in the display, including a Frankenstein figure dressed in baju Raya and another resembling the “Squid Game” doll.
She described the decorations as giving off a “Rayaween” vibe — a mix of Hari Raya and Halloween — adding that the Frankenstein figure looks slightly creepy when seen at night.
The post sparked humorous reactions from netizens, with some linking it to the approaching Friday the 13th while others joked the decorations would be good company for anyone celebrating Raya alone.
