Kota Kinabalu: A flat unit at the PPR Sri Keramat in Jalan Ketiau Tombovo in Putatan was damaged in a fire on Thursday.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 7.29am and deployed personnel from three stations to the scene.
Firefighters from Putatan arrived at the scene at 7.41am, covering a distance of 5.1 kilometres from their base. They were assisted by teams from Penampang and Kota Kinabalu.
The blaze was brought under control by 8.13am and fully extinguished by 9.05am.
The cause of the fire and estimated losses are under investigation.
