Kota Kinabalu: GRS Darau candidate Datuk Mohamed Razali Razi, also known as Bob, has proposed a land swap to make way for a larger, modern Likas Health Clinic to replace the cramped existing facility in Kampung Likas.
He also plans to strengthen community participation by setting up a Village Management and Development Council, along with youth centres in every village.
“No more old-school, closed-door meetings. The youth, JKKK, NGOs, and activists will have a transparent platform to voice their opinions.
The council will report directly to the assemblyman,” he said.
Razali emphasised support for youth entrepreneurship, saying the government has programmes that will be channelled through improved systems.
He welcomed 300 former Warisan Sepanggar members, led by Sabar Dasad, at Kampung Warisan on Tuesday, expressing confidence that more defections will follow.
He noted the shift came from frustration with past neglect and lack of progress under Warisan.”GRS has been delivering, and the people can see the difference,” he said.
