TAWAU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (

Daily Express on Sunday.
He said the settlers’ appeals, which include long-standing welfare and land-related issues, have been received by the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya for evaluation and follow-up discussions.
Among the matters highlighted were the approval of 500 acres for second-generation housing lots, the implementation of the Felda Second Generation Housing Project (PPGKF), and land grant status for first-generation settlers.
Anwar, who was in Tawau for the Malaysia Digital Tour Programme, reiterated that the Madani Government has not neglected Felda’s welfare, noting the annual RM1 billion allocation since 2023 to help settle Felda’s RM9.9 billion sukuk debt.
The assurance follows a peaceful gathering by 55 Felda Umas settlers on Saturday, who urged federal intervention despite the State Government’s earlier positive response to their housing applications.
