LABUAN: There is no need to panic or be excessively worried over the Middle East conflict that has triggered a spike in oil prices, saysMember of Parliament Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman.
“I believe we are in good hands under Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the Minister of Finance as he has the business acumen to cushion the impact on the cost of services and goods,” he said.
Suhaili said the Prime Minister must have worked out a plan to navigate through the prevailing economic uncertainties.
“During these trying times, it would be doing a favour by no playing politics on the issue,” he said while welcoming friends for an Aidilfitri gathering at his residence here
Suhaili said Anwar has proven to be a capable Finance Minister even after holding the portfolio for only about three years.
