Firefighters were called to Kampung Kionsom, Inanam, on Wednesday after a tree fell onto the kitchen area of a non-permanent house during the afternoon.

A team of 11 personnel from the Lintas Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene about 10 minutes after receiving the emergency call at 12.55pm.

The team cut and cleared the fallen tree to a safe area, with no injuries reported and an estimated 10 per cent damage to the kitchen structure.
