SANDAKAN: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah Chief Datuk Mustapha Sakmud said the party is targeting two seats in Sandakan in the coming state election, namely Gum-Gum and Karamunting.
He said the two seats are sufficient, with one representing the Bumiputera Muslim community and the other the Chinese community in the area.
“For Sandakan, so far, we have two seats - Gum-Gum and Karamunting - which are enough,” he said at an event at Mile 8, here, Friday.
Mustapha said what is important is to ensure that the candidates to be fielded understand the reform and transformation agendas under the Madani government led by the Prime Minister.
He said the list of candidates would only be finalised on nomination day.
