Kota Kinabalu: Lee Leong Chun clinched the nett title at the Captain’s Prize Challenge Cup tournament held at Tawau Golf Club (TGC) last weekend.
He emerged victorious in the main event with a score of 67 and in second place was Mohd Noor Ikhsan (67) followed by Tang Chee Siong (70) in third.
The men’s gross title went to Raymond Yee (78) with second and third places going to Jonathan Pang (82) and Supardi Samsudin (82) respectively.
Connie Leong (69) was the winner in the ladies’ nett category followed by Rahima Orchient Yayah (70) and Vasthi Kong (75), while the top three places in the men’s senior went to Yong Kiong Vun (66), Peter Tang Kuo Hua (67) and Kong Fui Pin (70).
Meanwhile, the winners in the wooden spoon category were Julaydi Mattuju (men’s nett-103), Liau Su Fah (senior nett-108) and Alice Ismail (ladies nett-84).
