Kota Kinabalu: Datuk Hj Abu Bakar Abas clinched the super senior gross title in round one of the Sutera Harbour Golf and Country Club Senior & Super Senior Closed Golf tournament held on Saturday (Nov 22).
He carded a score of 78 to claim the top prize ahead of second placed Hj Ahmad Sapawi (80) and Pg Mohd Yusof Razak (85) in third , while the nett title was captured by Yusop Daud (64) followed by Lee Tae Sil (70) and Datuk Nurnikman (70).
In the senior category, the gross title was won by Simon Jiwa (77) and in second place was Park Myung Chul (78) with Thomas Chang (85) in third.
The top three winners in the nett category were Leo Gaudiel (69), Datuk Victor Sanjos (70) and Addie Ahmad (71).
Meanwhile, the tournament was sponsored by Datuk Hj Shahriman Abdullah.
