KENINGAU: The Ethnic Kujau Gana Nabai Cultural and Welfare Association of Sabah (KGNS) has taken a significant step forward as its top leadership unanimously agreed to strengthen its focus and establish a clearer, more people-oriented identity in line with its founding vision as a cultural umbrella representing three major interior Sabah ethnic groups: Kujau, Gana, and Nabai.
The agreement was reached during the KGNS High Management Meeting chaired by its President, Petronella Munting, held at Pexoholic Café, Bandar Baharu Keningau, on Saturday morning.
Also present were Deputy President Haji Yazid Haji Mohd Hasnan Tawik Mansai @ Charles, Secretary-General Umah Munting, Treasurer-General Jovita Attap, and members of the association’s top committee.
In her opening remarks, Petronella said that KGNS must ensure every step, programme, and activity truly reflects the spirit and values of the Kujau, Gana, and Nabai ethnic groups, which form the heart and soul of the association.
