Kota Kinabalu: Youth leaders from across Sabah’s political divide signalled a show of unity in pressing for the State’s long-contested 40 per cent revenue entitlement, calling on other party wings to set aside differences and join the cause.
The group, comprising politicians and activists, gathered at a rally at Padang Merdeka on Friday evening, where they stressed that the issue transcends legal arguments and must be driven by collective political will.
Speaking at the rally, Ariff Adi Putera Anwar said the 40 per cent claim is not purely a legal matter but one rooted in sovereignty and constitutional rights.
“This is not just a legal question. It is also political. It concerns our sovereignty and our Constitution.
