LABUAN: Espérer Dance Studio brought pride to Labuan at the Dance World Cup Malaysia Qualifiers held at the JKKN Auditorium, Kota Kinabalu, on March 27-29.
Principal Ameris Lim Shiang Yee said the team brought home the Best Solo Award, eight championship titles and two runner-up titles across various dance categories.

This achievement demonstrates the students’ capabilities, as well as the effectiveness of a structured long-term training system, systematic guidance, and full support from parents and families.
She said the championship titles were won by dancers Raynise Lo Wen Qin, Giovanna Freddy Richard, Giovanna Renelda Chin, Serene Voon Jun Ting, Vivian Chau Zi
Lei, Alexis Leong Zeng Yao, Bernyse Hieu Ming Yee, Daphne Chew Ke Xin, Ng Qian En and Tsen Xin Ning.
“Meanwhile, the runner-up titles were achieved by dancers Rewina Ng Qiao En and Low Jacelyn in the solo lyrical and street dance categories for ages 10-11.

“The competition was organised by the Bayu Arts and Culture Association (Sabah),” she said.
