Kota Kinabalu properties deemed too expensive
Melissa Leong, Sean Tan and Peter Yong speaking at the event.
Kota Kinabalu: A mixed development with shops and offices is an example of a viable location where short-term rental commercial property like Airbnb-type business properly managed will thrive.

This is in contrast to other remote locations where there is no business vibrancy anchored by shops and commercial activities, like a standalone guarded and gated residential zone property, where the local government or property management and residents may not tolerate such Airbnb business.

These were some of the opinions expressed by two invited speakers at the “Beyond Airbnb – Smarter Property Investment in Kota Kinabalu” at the Jesselton International Sales Gallery on Jan 17.

The two speakers from West Malaysia were Money TV Peter Yong and architect cum property master Sean Tan (Iherng-realestateguy) in the podcast session moderated by local MC Melissa Leong.
