Ex-members can rejoin Sabah Umno
Jafry said voters in the last state election showed resistance to “outside” or Malayan-based parties, focusing more on future prospects than past achievements.
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno’s open-door policy extends to former members, including those who were previously suspended or left the party, its Chairman Datuk Jafry Ariffin said.

However, those seeking to return must submit a formal application that will be reviewed by a party committee.
